My good friend, Sandra, offered to show me a few places I might like to photograph.
#ProTip – If you’ve ever wanted to see a rural area in a different way, always take a local as your guide!
Sandra was baptised at St Michael on the Hill, she knows a bunch of the local farm owners, and her old family farm is the home of the Hukatere Trig Station (Where these quick shots were taken). The highest point in the area, of course, it features the most amazing views.
We made a day of it, with her beautiful son Connor, and stopped at a few places along Tinopai Road. After a few quick detours, catch-ups with lovely friends, lunch with her father, and a bit of a 4×4 trip around his property, I’ve gathered a nice list of fantastic spots to shoot.
