After shooting the Opening Doors art exhibition for Mercy Hospice Christchurch, I was asked back to help in a different way.
Meliame was an “in-patient”, and too unwell to join her family at home for Christmas. So the lovely Viv James (The Opening Doors Co-ordinator), arranged to have her family join her for some family photos. Mercy even provided the Christmas tree! In this photo, Meliame is with her sisters.
It was to be the first of many shoots organised by Viv, and Mercy Hospice, for those they tirelessly care for. It’s been an amazing experience.
